CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system; (a) Advanced Roofing Technologies, Ltd., 120 Mountain Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80524: On and before 12/18/12, the employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program for the site that included frequent and regular inspections made by a competent person. Such inspections would identify existing and predictable hazards including but not limited to fall hazards associated with roofing activities. This condition exposed employees to falls from elevation. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
