29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Eyecare Holdings, employees in the process of installing roof sheathing on a steep slope roof (6 in 12 vertical to horizontal) were exposed to a 12 foot fall hazard, in that, fall protection equipment was not installed or utilized. Observed on or about 12/18/2012.
