29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employees ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: On or about December 19, 2012 and times prior thereto, at this facility, the employer did not provide a medical evaluation to employees required to wear a 3M negative pressure half-mask respirator when spray painting. Employees were issued negative pressure respirators for working with hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to DuPont Nason Fast Reducer. Employees were exposed to a respiratory inhalation hazard.
