OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. On or about January 2, 2013, employees were exposed to the hazards associated with a roof collapse. Employees were exposed as they installed plywood sheeting to wood trusses that were installed without temporary bracing and overloaded with full bunks of plywood. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
