29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed. Warehouse Area: On or about 23 October 2012 and times prior thereto, (a) 120 volt, electrical panel DD had an open blank on the circuit breaker panel. This condition exposed employees to electrical shock and burn hazards. (b) 240 volt, electrical panel MDP-1 had an open area on the circuit breaker panel. This condition exposed employees to electrical shock and burn hazards. The Defense Commissary was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 711498, Citation 02, Item Number 02, issued 1 November 2012, in respect to a workplace located at Fort Greely, Alaska.

29 CFR 1910.305(j)(2)(vii): Receptacles installed in wet locations where the product intended to be plugged into it would be attended while in use (for example, portable tools) did not have an enclosure that was weatherproof when the attachment plug cap was removed. Meat processing Room: On or about 23 October 2012 and times prior thereto, an electrical outlet was missing the waterproof cover. This condition exposed employees to an electrical shock hazard. The Defense Commissary was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 711498, Citation 01, Item Number 04, issued 1 November 2012, in respect to a workplace located at Fort Greely, Alaska.
