29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: (a) On or about January 7, 2013 an employee received 2nd degree chemical burns to the arms from ISW-29 (potassium hydroxide, corrosive) while putting pans into the washer and the employer did not sure personal protective equipment, such as long chemical resistan gloves where worn.
