29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) Maintenance building: Employees change a tube in the 55-gallon drum of All Purpose Boiler Treatment, a corrosive chemical, once per month and an eyewash station, capable of 15 minutes of continuous flush, was not available in the immediate area, on or about 1/14/13. b) Main building: Employees add approximately one pint per day of All Purpose Boiler Treatment, a corrosive chemical, to an auxiliary boiler during cold weather. An eyewash station, capable of 15 minutes of continuous flush, was not available in the immediate area, on or about 1/14/13. c) Machine shop: Employees add approximately one pint per day of All Purpose Boiler Treatment, a corrosive chemical, to an auxiliary boiler during cold weather. An eyewash station, capable of 15 minutes of continuous flush, was not available in the immediate area, on to about 1/14/13.
