29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(i): Unused openings in boxes, raceways, auxiliary gutters, cabinets, equipment cases, or housings were not effectively closed to afford protection substantially equivalent to the wall of the equipment. (a) Employees were potentially exposed to serious injury from electrical hazards due to a knockout opening that was not effectively closed. The opening was located on the left side of the circuit breaker panel #281205, located in the PAD shop of Building 80 next to the table for cutting insulation. Building 80 was located at 5555 N Channel Ave in Portland, Oregon. (b) Employees were potentially exposed to serious injury from electrical hazards due to a knockout opening that was not effectively closed on the right side of the 125 -260 volt white switch box. The switch box was located in building 80 PAD shop near circuit breaker panel #281205 and the insulation cutting tabel, at 5555 N Channel Ave in Portland, Oregon. (c) Employees were potentially exposed to serious injury from electrical hazards due to unused openings that were not effectively closed on the bottoms of four 440 volt switches. The switches were located in the Building 50 PCI warehouse in the NW corner or the warehouse, at 5555 N Channel Ave in Portland, Oregon.
