29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: On or about 01/16/2013, employees working in the waste water treatment plant were not informed on the hazards related to use of and exposure to chemicals such as but not limited to hydrogen sulfide at the facility. The employer (Republic Metals Corporation) was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.1200(h)(1)), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314265810, citation number 1, item number 9b and was affirmed as a final order on 08/22/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 12900 NW 38th Avenue, Miami FL 33054.

The employee was monitored for 416 minutes and a zero dose was assumed for the un-sampled time.
