29 CFR 1910.107(e)(9): Flammable liquids or liquids with a flashpoint greater than 199.4 �F (93 �C) transferred from one container to another were not effectively bonded and grounded to prevent discharge sparks of static electricity: (a) Employees were transferring acetone from a fifty-five gallon barrel to a smaller container without the barrel being bonded to the building ground and the small container being bonded to the barrel. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
