29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt was worn but a lanyard was not attached to the boom or basket when working from an aerial lift. On or about January 31, 2013, two employees were using an aerial lift to prep the building for painting. The employee in the basket was wearing a harness but was not attached to it. The employee in the basket was exposed to a potential fall hazard of up to approximately 19 feet to the ground below.
