On or about January 29, 2013, at the above addressed jobsite, an inspection was not conducted by a competant person capable of correcting hazards, such as falls, which could result in employee injuries. The KLF Enterprises Inc. Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.20(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 329281, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/24/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 278 East 12th St. Chicago Heights, IL 60411.

Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. On or about January 29, 2013 - at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing demolition operations on the roof were exposed to falls approximatly thrity ficve (35) feet, created by the presence of unprotected sides. The KLF Enterprises, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 329281, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/24/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 278 East 12th St. Chicago Heights, IL. 60411.
