29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 psi: (a) Rudi's Organic Bakery, Inc. at 3300 Walnut Street, Unit C, Boulder, CO 80301: On and before February 2, 2013 the employer did not ensure the compressed air nozzle used for cleaning off equipment in the maintenance shop was reduced to less than 30 psi. The compressed air line was pressurized at approximately 118 psi. This condition exposed employees using the air hose to the hazard of an embolism in the blood stream.

29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(iii): The employer did not separate oxygen cylinders in storage from fuel-gas cylinders, or combustible materials, by a minimum of 20 feet, or by a noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet high having a fire resistance rating of at least one-half hour: (a) Rudi's Organic Bakery, Inc. at 3300 Walnut Street, Unit C, Boulder, CO 80301: On and before February 2, 2013 the employer did not separate oxygen cylinders from acetylene cylinders while in storage in the maintenance shop. The oxygen and acetylene cylinders on a welding-cutting cart were not in use due to both cylinders not being connected to properly functioning regulators. The hose pressure gauge on both cylinder regulating devices were broken. This condition exposed employees to fire, and explosion hazards.

Maintenance and sanitation employees access the storage room. This condition exposed employees to hazards of unsafe housekeeping practices.

This condition potentially exposed employees to exposure of hazardous chemicals.
