29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operators employees from hazards created by ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a)Safeway Bread Plant at 4500 Dahlia St., Denver, CO 80216: On or before February 6, 2013 machine guarding was not provided in that the Sharp mill in the maintenance shop was not fitted with a guard to protect the employees from rotating parts. This condition exposed the employees to a rotating part and a laceration hazard. (b)Safeway Bread Plant at 4500 Dahlia St., Denver, CO 80216: On or before February 6, 2013 machine guarding was not provided in that the Turn-nado lathe in the maintenance shop was not fitted with a guard to protect the employees from rotating parts. This condition exposed the employees to a rotating part and a laceration hazard. (c)Safeway Bread Plant at 4500 Dahlia St., Denver, CO 80216: On or before February 6, 2013 machine guarding was not provided in that the Fubco drill press in the maintenance shop was not fitted with a guard to protect the employees from rotating parts. This condition exposed the employees to a rotating part and a laceration hazard.
