29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about January 29, 2013, at 1130 Gallatin Way, Suwanee, Georgia: a) Four employees performing roofing work were exposed to a fall hazard of up to approximately 21.1-feet when they loaded asphalt shingles and made chalk lines on the roof without tying off to their lifelines. b) An employee performing roofing work from the porch roof of a house was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 10.1-feet when the employee was installing asphalt shingles without tying off to his lifeline.
