29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems were not installed along all open sides and ends of platforms before being released for use by employees other than erection/dismantling crews: a) Along the front of the Bojangles building, under construction, on or about February 8, 2013, a section of the guardrail system was missing for employees who were performing EIFS work while standing on a tubular welded frame scaffolding platform that was thirteen feet above the ground, resulting in a fall hazard. b) Along the west side of the Bojangles building, under construction, on or about February 8, 2013, a section of the guardrail system was missing for employees who were performing EIFS work while standing on a tubular welded frame scaffolding platform that was thirteen feet above the ground, resulting in a fall hazard. Flavius Talpes dba A1 Stucco was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315080127, citation number 1, item number 6a and was affirmed as a final order on May 5, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 1061 JD&L Drive US Hwy 21, Jacksonville, AL 36265.
