29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s) On or about February 11, 2013: (a) Employees were exposed to amputation while operating an Bradbury 40 foot long bed folder to perform folding operations. The machine is operated by foot pedal control, which leaves employees' hands free to move about while the machine is in the operating cycle. (b) An employee was exposed to amputation hazards while operating a 20 foot long bed Pacific Press Brake to perform bending operations on boat dock parts. Machine is controlled by a foot pedal, which allowed employee's hands to be free while machine was in the operating cycle.
