29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2): Supported scaffold poles, legs, posts, frames, and uprights did not bear on base plates and mud sills or other adequate firm foundation:  a)  New cafeteria at Saraland Elementary;  On or about February 14, 2013 and at times prior thereto, the employer exposed his employees to 12' fall hazards in that employees engaged in bricklaying were permitted work from the 1st and 2nd bucks of a 3 buck high scaffold where the scaffolding was erected on on mudsills without all the required base plates.  Cruz Masonry, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.451(c)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 544883, citation number 1, item number 2b and was affirmed as a final order on August 22, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 476 Eliza Jordan Road, Mobile, AL 36695.
