(b) In the storage area: On February 27, 2013 and at times prior to; the employer failed to secure un-used openings of the electrical box exposing employees to hazards associated with fires, arc and arc blast and smoke inhalation.

29 CFR 1910.107(e)(2): The quantity of flammable or combustible liquids kept in the vicinity of spraying operations were not at a minimum required for operations or they exceeded a supply for one day or one shift: (a) Paint area: On or about February 27, 2013 and at times prior to; the employer exposed his employees to fire hazards in that the quantity of flammable and combustible liquids kept in the area of spray operations exceeded the minimum required for operations and exceeded a supply for one day. J.W. Cabinets, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.107(e)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315845990, citation number 1, item number 3b and was affirmed as a final order on November 17, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 8035 Tanner Williams Rd.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws: (a) Shop area: On February 26, 2013 and at times prior to; the employer exposed his employees to electrical hazards in that employees were allowed to use a powermatic saw with the electrical cord pulled loose from the machine and not connected to a device or fitting to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws as required by the regulation. The J.W. Cabinets, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315845990, citation number 2, item number 5c and was affirmed as a final order on November 17, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 8035 Tanner Williams Rd., Mobile, AL 36608.
