29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: (a) Facility, Hand Feed Station #2, Between Clipping and Grading: On or about January 17, 2013, an employee got her hand caught in the power rollers while she ws trying to unjam a bundle of veneer hardwood. (b) Facility, Hand Feed Station #2: On or about February 20, 2013, the existing guard over the conveyor roller would not prevent an employee from reaching into the area where an accident occurred that resulted in an employee being slightly injured by the rollers.
