(a) Roof, new residential construction located on Lot #19 Living Springs Circle SW, Powder Springs, GA 30127: Employee was not protected from eye injuries while installing 5/8" plywood sheathing with a pneumatic Hitachi (Model NR83A2) Stick Frame Nail Gun as this tool was operated without safety goggles or glasses. (b) Driveway, new residential construction located on Lot #19 Living Springs Circle SW, Powder Springs, GA 30127: Employee was not protected from eye injuries while cutting 5/8" plywood sheathing with a Makita (Model 5007F) 7 1/4" Circular Saw as this tool was operated without safety goggles or glasses. (c) Second Floor, new residential construction located on Lot #19 Living Springs Circle SW, Powder Springs, GA 30127: Employee operating a Hitachi (Model NR83A2) Stick Frame Nail Gun installing wood studs was not protected from eye injuries as this tool was operated without safety glasses.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: (a) Roof, new residential construction located on Lot #19 Living Springs Circle SW, Powder Springs, GA 30127: Employee installing 5/8" plwood sheathing on a 10/12 pitched roof was exposed to falls of approximately 9'7" to the ground below when a fall protection system was not used.
