At the workplace in the CPA area, an employee working on the Case Palletizing Platform was not protected by a standard top rail or mid rail.     b. At the workplace in the Annex area, employees performing maintenance and cleaning operations were not protected by a standard railing.

29 CFR 1910.305(e)(1): Cabinets, cutout boxes, fittings, boxes, and panelboard enclosures. Cabinets, cutout boxes, fittings, boxes, and panelboard enclosures in damp or wet locations shall be installed so as to prevent moisture or water from entering and accumulating within the enclosures and shall be mounted so there is at least 6.35-mm (0.25-in.) airspace between the enclosure and the wall or other supporting surface. However, nonmetallic enclosures may be installed without the airspace on a concrete, masonry, tile, or similar surface. The enclosures shall be weatherproof in wet locations.     a. At the workplace in the Tower Control Room, an employee was exposed to a 480 panelboard enclosure that was not suitable for damp or wet locations.  The ceiling above the enclosure had multiple holes in the roof allowing rain to drain into the enclosure.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(4): If the direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge is not immediately apparent, signs must be posted along the exit access indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge. Additionally, the line-of-sight to an exit sign must clearly be visible at all times.     a. At the workplace in the warehouse area, employees were exposed to aisles that were not marked and did not have signs posted to indicate the direction of travel to the nearest exit.     Owens-Brockway Glass Container, Inc. DBA Owens-Illinois was previously cited of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1910.37(b)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314636986, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as final order on January 18, 2011 with respect to a workplace located at 3107 Sylvan Road, Atlanta, GA 30354.
