29 CFR 1910.106(e)(6)(ii): Category 1 or 2 flammable liquids, or Category 3 flammable liquids with a flashpoint below 100 F (37.8 C), were dispensed into containers without the nozzle and container being electrically interconnected. Note: Where the metallic floorplate on which the container stands while filling is electrically connected to the fill stem or where the fill stem is bonded to the container during filling operations by means of a bond wire, the provisions of this section shall be deemed to have been complied with. Location: At 9738 Manchester Rd., St. Louis, MO 63119. The employer did not ensure that the Uni-Ram UG1000 spray gun cleaner was grounded when used with a flammable liquid, Finish Pro FPR 5000, General Purpose Lacquer Thinner. The MSDS stated that it has a flashpoint as low as -4F.

29 CFR 1910.304(g)(6)(vi): Exposed noncurrent-carrying metal parts of cord- and plug-connected equipment that could have become energized were not grounded: Location: In the shop area of the Professional Car Care Auto Body facility at 9738 Manchester Rd., St. Louis, MO 63119. The employer did not ensure that the Frigidaire refrigerator was grounded to ensure that the non-current carrying outer metal box could not become energized. The refrigerator did not have a ground prong.
