29 CFR 1910.23(c)(3): Regardless of height, open-sided floors, walkways, platforms, or runways above or adjacent to dangerous equipment, pickling or galvanizing tanks, degreasing units, and similar hazards were not guarded with a standard railing and toe board. a) Back of BA Machines - The walkway behind the BA Machines runs adjacent to an area where wire comes off several spools and enters machines approximately 20-30 feet away which had no barrier to prevent employees from entering this area where they may become entangled or struck by wire in the event of breakage.
