29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a.) Arvite Technologies, Inc., Battery recharging/refilling area, 2731 West 11th Street, Erie, PA, , on or about March 14th, 2013, and times prior thereto: Company employees work with and around corrosive chemicals, including, but not limited to, sulfuric acid. An emergency eyewash and safety shower station was not available in the battery re-charging and/or refilling area. Two 32 ounce saline bottles were in the area in lieu of a permanent, plumbed eye wash station.
