29 CFR 1910.242(b):   Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.:  On or about March 12, 2013, employees used compressed air in excess of 30 psig for blowing water out of molds and cleaning hopper loaders and hoses to remove regrind dust, exposing employees to the hazard of being struck by debris.  Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure air nozzles used for cleaning are reduced to at least 30 psig.

29 CFR 1910.305(b)(2)(i):   Each outlet box in completed installations did not have a cover, faceplate, or fixture canopy:  On or about July 23, 2012, the receptacle box powering the loader on Press 2 was missing its faceplate, exposing employees to burn and shock hazards.  Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that all pull boxes, junction boxes, and fittings are equipped with the appropriate covers and are installed so that there are no gaps or openings.
