29 CFR 1926.1101(k)(5)(ii)(B): The tests, evaluation, and sample collection was not conducted by an accredited inspector or by a certified industrial hygienist: a) At the facility, in the 8-2 Department, on or about March 4, 2013 - Employees using a Metabo Grinder equiped with a cutting wheel and a hammer and sheeters chisel cut out a metal panel in order to install a window in the 133 crane cab. While cutting out the panel, employees cut into white insulation that contained 75% chrysotile asbestos. Bulk sampling of the insulation located directly behind the metal panel was collected on November 14, 2013, by an ATI Allegheny Ludlum employee whom is not an accredited inspector or a certified industrial hygienist.
