29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. On or about March 22, 2013: (a) Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20.7 feet while receiving handrails through a second story window, without the use of fall protection measures. Quality Steel and Welding, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312778772, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on July 30, 2010 with respect to a workplace located at 419 College Dr Barnesville, GA 30204.
