29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a. On or about March 28, 2013, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee performing concrete operations from an exterior wall was exposed to a fall, of approximately eighteen (18) feet, created by the presence of unprotected sides. Abatement documentation is required for this item accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d)
