29 CFR 1904.29(b)(3): How quickly must each injury or illness be recorded? You must enter each recordable injury or illness on the OSHA 300 Log and 301 Incident Report within seven (7) calendar days of receiving information that a recordable injury or illness has occurred. ECOLAB - 3001 Channahon Road, Joliet, IL. On or about April 1, 2013, the employer did not record the following recordable injury correctly on the OSHA Logs for the calendar year 2013. a. On or about February 9, 2013, an employee sustained first and second degree burns to the hands which resulted in prescription medicine treatment. The injury was not recorded on the OSHA 300 log within seven days as required.
