29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): The employer did not administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.9(c) through (o) whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 decibels measured on the A scale, or equivalently a dose of fifty percent: (a) Saw Mill - On or about April 3, 2013 the chipper operator was exposed to continuous noise for 400 minutes with an exposure level of 93.1 dBA. A hearing conservation program had not been implemented including performing the annual audiometric testing. A zero increment was applied for the time not sampled. (b) Saw Mill - On or about April 3, 2013 the line operator was exposed to continuous noise for 400 minutes with an exposure level of 91 dBA. A hearing conservation program had not been implemented including performing the annual audiometric testing. A zero increment was applied for the time not sampled. (c) Saw Mill - On or about April 3, 2013 the edger operator was exposed to continuous noise for 400 minutes with an exposure level of 97 dBA. A hearing conservation program had not been implemented including performing the annual audiometric testing. A zero increment was applied for the time not sampled. (d) Saw Mill - On or about April 3, 2013 the line operator was exposed to continuous noise for 400 minutes with an exposure level of 94 dBA. A hearing conservation program had not been implemented including performing the annual audiomentric testing. A Zero increment was applied for the time not sampled.
