29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about 4/1/2013, at the Athens job site, employees were exposed to 18' fall hazards as employees were not using fall protection systems while walking around roof levels at/near the edge of the roof. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
