M/V Tustemena, Turnstile area: On or about 04 April 2013 and times prior thereto an air nozzle used for cleaning registered approximately 100 psi. Air nozzle was not equipped with deflector to reduce the pressure of air flow. This exposed employees to air embolism/laceration hazards if they contacted their skin. Seward Ships Drydock was previously cited for a for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 307503631, Citation 02, Item Number 01, issued 18 September 2008, with respect to a workplace, located at Seward Ships Drydock, Seward, Alaska.
