Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by hazards when working in an area where an overhead crane was operated in an unsafe manner:   (a) Schwing Bioset, Somerset, WI, production assembly bay; On or before March 21, 2013, the employer did not ensure that during hoisting and traveling motion the hook, the load, the crane and its moving parts did not collide with objects or people when the overhead crane struck an elevated work platform that was approximately 20 feet in the air, knocking it over into an employee work area.
