Employee operating a powered industrial truck, was not trained in the safe operation of a powered industrial truck. Violation observed on or about 04/17/2013.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Route 517 amd Route 10 East, Randolph, NJ. Employees were observed walking/working on roof top without any means of fall protection being used, thereby exposing his employees to a fall hazard of approxmately 15 feet to the ground. Violation observed on or about 04/17/2013. Leons Contractor, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (B)(13) which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 315300806, Citatiion Number 1, Item Numuber 2, issued on 03/01/2011 and a final order date on 02/07/2011, with respect to a jobsite located in 38 Lakewood Drive, Mountain Lakes, NJ.
