29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) 211 Eisenhower Parkway, Building #3, Livingston, NJ. A carpenter was exposed to 32 foot falls to the ground below from the upper floor balconies as no methods of fall protection were in use. Violation observed on or about 07/22/2017. Leons Contractor, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 901735, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 06/17/2013, with respect to a workplace located at Rt 517 & Rt 10 East, Randolph, NJ.
