29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: A) 559 Springfield Avenue, Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922: Employees on a steep roof were not protected from falling by utilizing a fall protection system. The employer did not require the use of any fall protection during roofing work. The violation was most recently observed on or about April 25, 2013 at 559 Springfield Avenue, Berkeley Heights, NJ where five employees were exposed to fall hazards on a 6/12 pitched roof with an eave height of approximately 9' from the second floor roof, 20' at the rear of the third floor roof and 25' at the front of the building.
