29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Front of the residential roof structure: On or about April 25, 2013, an employees was on the roof weather stripping the windows and exposed to an approximate fall hazard of 10 feet without a fall protection system in place. b) Back of the roof structure over the garage: On or about April 25, 2013, an employee was on the roof weather stripping the windows and exposed to an approximate fall hazard of 10 feet without a fall protection system in place. Note: Abatement certification and documentation IS required for this item. MV Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection 891296, Citation 1, Item 2, and was affirmed as a final order on April 22, 2013 with respect to a workplace located at Lot 4, Block 48, Meridian, Idaho.
