29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i): Employees working in areas where there were potential electrical hazards were not provided with electrical protective equipment that was appropriate for the specific parts of the body that needed to be protected and for the work being performed: (a) As observed on or about 04/30/2013, maintenance employees routinely service electrical machinery while energized at voltages that range from 120 to 460 volts are exposed to electric shocks, arc flash and arc blast hazards. The employees are provided with 00 electrical gloves, cotton shirts and non-electrical rated faceshields as personal protective equipment to mitigate the hazards.
