29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.     a)  Ross Enterprises on or about May 01, 2013, at the address of 2035 1st St. Sandusky, OH : The employer failed to ensure employees were protected from falls while performing roofing work on a low sloped commercial type structure. Employees working in this condition were exposed to falls of approximately 17 ft. to the ground below.     Ross Enterprises was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 311610711, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on January 22, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 252 Wayne St. Sandusky, OH.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.    a)      Ross Enterprises on or about May 01, 2013, at the address of 2035 1st St. Sandusky, OH: The employer did not ensure that employees had been trained in the appropriate use of fall protection such as but not limited to the use of personal fall arrest systems or alternative measures while performing roofing operations on a low sloped structure.     Ross Enterprises was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 311610711, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on January 22, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 252 Wayne St. Sandusky, OH.
