29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system.    Ross Enterprises on or about September 23, 2016, at the address of 2006 E. Harbor Rd., Port Clinton, Ohio: The employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while performing tasks associated with roofing.  Employees performing roofing operations on a commercial roof were exposed to falls of approximately 12 feet on the unprotected edges of the roof in that a safety monitoring system and warning line were not in place.    Ross Enterprises was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 903526, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on June 24, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 2035 1st Street, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
