29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: Golden Corral Restaurant 1511 Gregg Rd., Bellevue, NE: The employer failed to provide effective training to employees at the time of initial assignment and when new chemicals were introduced in to the work area. The employer could not produce documentation which showed that the training had been completed as well as conditions found during inspection indicated that the training had not been effectively conveyed to employees. Chemicals present in the workplace include but are not limited to: OASIS 136 containing Ammonium Hydroxides, GREASECUTTER cleaner containing Sodium Hydroxide.
