Southern Wood Works, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315484568, citation 01, item number 001, issued on September 10, 2012, with respect to a workplace at 473 Western Lake Drive, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida 32459. The final order date was October 1, 2012.  29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:  a. On or about May 22, 2013, an employee using a Hitachi NR83A2 pneumatic air nail gun did not have on safety glasses, exposing himself to being hit by nails or flying debris.

Southern Wood Works, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315484568, citation 01, item number 002, issued on September 10, 2012, with respect to a workplace at 473 Western Lake Drive, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida 32459. The final order date was October 1, 2012.  29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  a. On or about May 22, 2013, an employee performing framing operations was not protected from a 25 feet fall hazard by use of a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system or any alternative fall protection.
