29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(ii): The safety monitor shall warn the employee when it appears that the employee is unaware of a fall hazard or is acting in an unsafe manner; At 8600 College Blvd. Overland Park, Kansas, employees were working on a flat roof outside of the warning lines for the purpose of installing roof flashing. The safey monitor was distracted from his duties and employees were exposed to falls approximately 18 feet from the roof edge to the ground below.
