29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about June 03, 2013, employees performing roofing activities on a 6/12 pitch roof of a single family 3 story apartment complex were not wearing lanyards or tied off and were exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 30 feet to the ground below.
