Worksite: The employer did not implement training for the employees who used chemicals at their worksite which would include hazards associated with vapors, personal protective equipment (PPE), appropriate work practices, physical and health hazards and emergency procedures.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system.    Worksite:  The employees who were working on the flat roof at approximately 11 feet 3 inches above the ground were not protected from fall hazards by the use of guardrails, safety nets, personal fall arrest systems or a monitoring system.     Young Developers, LLC was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315235713, citation number 1, item number 7a, issued on 7/8/2011 with respect to a workplace located at 2989 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Ct and became a final order on 7/27/2011.
