29 CFR 1910.95(d)(1): When information indicated that any employee's exposure equaled or exceed the 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels, the employer did not develop and implement a monitoring program: 1.) Press Room - On or about 6/13/13, a Head Pressman was exposed to continuous noise at 213% of the permissible daily exposure (8 hour time-weighted average sound level of 90 dBA) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 96.2 dBA during the 430 minute sampling period. 2.) Press Room - On or about 6/13/13, a Head Pressman was exposed to continuous noise at 198.5% of the permissible daily exposure (8 hour time-weighted average sound level of 90 dBA) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 95.7 dBA during the 431 monute sampling period. 3.) Press Room - On or about 6/13/13, a 'Flyer' was exposed to continuous noise at 190.7% of the permissible daily exposure (8 hour time-weighted average sound level of 90 dBA) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 94.9 dBA during the 466 minute sampling period. 4.) Press room - On or about 6/13/13, a 'Flyer' was exposed to continuous noise at 135.4% of the permissible daily exposure (8 hour time-weighted average sound level of 90 dBA) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 92.9 dBA during the 430 minute sampling period. 5.) Binder room - On or about 6/13/13, a Binder Operator was exposed to continuous noise at 59.3% of the permissible daily exposure (8 hour time-weighted average sound level of 90 dBA) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 89.2 dBA during the 326 minute sampling period. 6.) Binder Room - On or about 6/13/13, a Binder Operator was exposed to continuous noise at 38.3% of the permissilb eexposure (8 hour time-weighted average sound level of 90 dBA) or an equivalent sound level of approximately 87.4 dBA during the 261 minute sampling period.
