29 CFR 1910.26(c)(2)(vii): 29 CFR 1910.26(c)(2)(vii): Ladders having defects were not marked and taken out of service until repaired: a) Mechanic(s) used a 12 ft Husky fiberglass step ladder for access to upper parts of outside corner(s) of a trailer during repair work such as seam riveting. The ladder was used with a loose and sagging spreader bar having a bent / damaged locking mechanism; instead of being removed from service. Condition(s) were noted on or about 6/11/2013.
