29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). On or about March 18, 2013, the employer did not ensure the employees who were performing roofing work were protected from falling. The employees were exposed to a fall hazards of approximately 20 feet to the ground below. Francisco Figueroa was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 543102, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/02/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 411 Edgewood Ct. Forney, TX 75126.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where (a) portable ladder(s) was/were used for access to an upper level landing surface and the ladder's length did not allow the ladder side rails to extend at least 3 feet (0.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed, the ladder was not secured at its top to a rigied support that will not deflect, and/or a grasping device was not provided to assist emmployees in mounting and dismounting the ladder. On or about March 18, 2013, employees performing roofing activities were exposed to fall hazards when accessing the roof by the means of an extension ladder that was not 3 feet above the landing. Francisco Figueroa was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 543102, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/02/2012, with respect to a workplace located at 411 Edgewood Ct. Forney, TX 75126.
