29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: (a) In the Farmland plant processing areas, the Circuit Supervisor did not ensure that a periodic inspection of the energy control procedures (Lock Out Tag Out) for the previous 12 months was performed. Examples include but are not limited to; Tipper, Cry-o-vac loader, stuffer, portioner heat sealer. Abatement verification is required for this violation. The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citation(s).
